Lashana Lynch Wore Standing Ground To The Bulgari Mediterranea High Jewelry Event
British actress Lashana Lynch attended the Bulgari Mediterranea High Jewelry event held at Palazzo Ducale in Venice with her fellow ambassadors.
Before I comment on this, I want to cast your mind back to 2022, when I asked the fashion gods to SLS.
Judging by her look for the 2023 BAFTAs, and now this, my prayers have not been answered.
Starting with the positives, this is a beautiful colour for Lashana. Pink remains a great colour for her.
But I couldn’t be more disappointed with the outcome of Lashana in this Standing Ground Spring 2023 strapless creation.
It reminds me of the time when I would go to the hairdressers as a kid, and all the cool kids would leave looking like Toni Braxton, and I would leave looking like a middle-aged woman.
Why? Because the stylist has put all her creative efforts into their looks, and not mine.
Much like when I started modelling, and I would be sent down the runway looking like a ghost, because the makeup artist didn’t have my shade.
That is why I continue to have empathy for Lashana, because the feeling is so brutally familiar.
The dress has exaggerated hips. Lashana is a beautiful, curvy woman.
So why no one noticed that the USP of this dress did not sit in the desired location, will remain a mystery to me.
This is unflattering, unfortunate and most importantly avoidable. If only the person who was dressing her cared.
Unfortunately, she didn’t.
