Michelle Yeoh Wore Valentino Haute Couture To The Santa Barbara Film Festival

Michelle Yeoh received the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film during the 2022 Santa Barbara International Film Festival held at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara Resort & Spa on Friday (December 9) in Santa Barbara, California.

The actress was a vision of perfection wearing a white Valentino Spring 2022 Haute Couture dress which oozed the house’s signature elegance.

This dress features an intricate shirred detail that imbue a healthy dose of luxury, but that is amplified with the leafy gold-plated choker.

I love that Michelle kept this detail from the runway, as there was a potential that the dress would feel quite flat without some form of statement accessory.

My first thought was that her hair needed to be pulled back further, but on reflection the half-up, half-down style adds to the relaxed, charming elegance of it all.
