Bottega Veneta @ 2022 Governors Awards

Bottega Veneta dressed Margot Robbie and Michelle Yeoh for the 2022 Governors Awards which was held at the Fairmont Century Plaza on Saturday (November 19 in Los Angeles, California.

I can imagine many of you are punching the air with delight to see Margot Robbie wearing this Bottega Veneta custom jersey dress accented with the brands signature gold knot detail.

This feels like a result of our collective manifestations.

We asked the fashion gods to release Margot Robbie from her Chanel contract.

We believed it would eventually happen and here we are, seeing Margot in her element.

This is the Margot Robbie I know and love. Modern, sultry, sexy and free.

I cannot gush about this enough.

We deserve this. We’ve suffered enough.

Michelle Yeoh wore a Bottega Veneta dress from the Spring 2023 collection featuring the brands now fringed signature skirt we’ve seen on other celebrities such as Sarah Paulson and Sophie Okonedo.

Considering the actress tends to wear what I call “veteran” red carpet brands such as Elie Saab most of the time, I was delighted to see her opting for something modern, yet still very on brand for her.
