Björk Wore Alexander McQueen Performing At The Primavera Sound Buenos Aires Festival
Björk was the headline act for the Primavera Sound Buenos Aires Festival on Wednesday (November 9).
The Icelandic singer-songwriter tends to opt for quirky, sculptural pieces that could double as artwork.
In that respect, I often feel that between her music and avant-garde fashion choices, the world has always been a few strides behind her, which is why you often see her wearing custom pieces.
On this occasion she wore a custom Alexander McQueen psychedelic mushroom dress featuring an asymmetric draped skirt accented with red, acid green, yellow and crystal, bead and sequin mycelium embroidery which is inspired by the Fall 2022 collection.
The picture above perfectly illustrates just how artistic this look is.
And Björk doesn’t rely on just to dress for her performance, as the look was also styled with a Visha Carinio neck piece. Alexander McQueen custom jewelry, and embroidered boots with a shard wedge heel.
But the pièce de résistance is the James Merry headpiece.
Tilda Swinton is also a fan of the designers work.
