Penelope Cruz Wore Dolce & Gabbana To The ‘On The Fringe’ Venice Film Festival Photocall

Sporting a new fringe, Penelope Cruz attended the photocall for ‘On The Fringe’ (En Los Margenes) during the Venice Film Festival on Tuesday (September 6) in Italy. 

You’ll be shocked to see her wearing this Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 vintage white, Sicilian lace maxi dress purely because she’s not wearing Chanel.

As we learned from Kristen Stewart at the 2022 Critics’ Choice Awards, Chanel are not as strict as we have been led to believe.

I’m happy to see Penelope in “something new.”

Not only because I strongly believe that Italian brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Versace are a better fit for the actress, but also because the road less taken is more intriguing.

Take this dress for example which showcases Dolce & Gabbana’s exuberantly romantic style, which I don’t often feel with Chanel.
