Anne Hathaway Wore Versace To The ‘WeCrashed’ SXSW Premiere
Anne Hathaway attends the premiere of ‘WeCrashed’ during the 2022 SXSW Festival on Saturday (March 12) in Austin, Texas.
I know a few of you have been feeling fatigued by the cut-out trend, but considering this isn’t Anne’s usual style you might be intrigued to see her in this Versace Spring 2022 chainmail dress, detailed with the iconic safety pins and bold Medusa hardware.
If I didn’t know better, I would say that this dress was custom made, because it fits better than some of the custom looks we saw on the red carpet during awards season this weekend.
The dress is very glam for this festival, but some might feel the styling doesn’t live up to the dress, and I would agree.
I don’t think the micro top handle bag was needed here.
Update on the bag. It was designed by the sustainable Thai brand Pipatchara.
The transgender flag ?️⚧️ is likely to be in reaction to Texas’ new policies targeting trans children.
Anne used this opportunity to show her support for the trans community.
