Kim Petras Wore Richard Quinn To The 2021 MTV VMAs

Despite wearing a black latex face mask on the red carpet for the 2021 MTV VMAs, someone was able to identify this as German singer-songwriter Kim Petras.

We all know the London-based designer Richard Quinn loves latex, face coverings, embellishments, and florals, yet this Fall 2021 ensemble feels like a lot to see all those signatures in one look.

Everything from the thighs up looks uncomfortable, so I really struggled to enjoy this look, as creative as it is.

It starts with the mask, which is freaking me out, then the dress which looks too heavy for her.

As hard as she tried, she didn’t sell this to me.

A Fabergeě multi-coloured gemstone rose ring and Roger Vivier pumps completed her look.
