There were two debuts for Halle Berry on the red carpet at the 2021 Oscars on Sunday (April 25), and the internet didn’t know which one to react to first.
She introduced the world to her new beau Van Hunt, while simultaneously – and perhaps most importantly – rocking a new A-line, asymmetrical bob.
When it comes to Halle Berry’s hair, I would say we are all heavily invested.
Her signature pixie cut will forever be iconic, but she does love to switch things up from time to time.
I do – in part – like the new style, but I’m struggling with the microbangs.
Had that part been much longer I would’ve been fully on board….I think. I’m still trying to get used to it.
What I did love was her raspberry custom-made Dolce & Gabbana strapless chiffon gown.
Look at this sweetheart neckline, then go back and look at Vanessa Kirby’s Gucci gown, and you can see how important structure is to making and breaking a look.
The exaggerated bow detail at the waist prevents this gown from feeling run of the mill.
Christian Louboutin ‘Cathy’ Plaform sandals completed her look.
