Shira Haas attended the 2021 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (March 7), where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for ‘Unorthodox .’
As you know I was a little underwhelmed by her Chanel look at the Golden Globes, so I was looking for something more interesting for this event.
And she delivered with not one, but two Armani Privé dresses.
The first was for the virtual red carpet which was steep in romance thanks to the delicate sheer overlay and crystal embellishments.
The second dress from the Spring 2018 collection which she wore for the ceremony.
What I love about this is we finally get to see her having fun with fashion.
I’m thankful for this moment, as I was starting to feel like she was becoming Rooney Mara 2.0 where everything feels so serious all of the time.
Opting for pastel hues again, this shift dress entirely embroidered with beading and paillettes, but I am missing the fringed beaded detailing we saw on the runway.
The mint green sandals make up for my disappointment that her dress was modified.
