Andra Day Wore Chanel Haute Couture To The 2021 Golden Globe Awards

Andra Day is nominated for the Best Actress in a Motion Picture and Best Original song for ‘The United States vs. Billie Holiday’ at the 2021 Golden Globe Awards this evening (February 28) made a virtual appearance on the red carpet.

The trademark beehive gave way to natural curls, and her favoured bold colours was swapped for a more muted long gray silk tulle dress from the Chanel Spring 2021 Haute Couture collection.

I’m thankful for the fully embroidered, sequin macramé bodice as gray isn’t a colour which usually grabs my attention, but this look is so ethereal, simple and breath-taking in equal measures.
