Kamala Harris Wore Sergio Hudson For The U.S. Capitol Inauguration Ceremony

Kamala Harris Wore Sergio Hudson For The U.S. Capitol Inauguration Ceremony

Vice-President Kamala Harris attended the closing ceremony held at the Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday (January 20) in Washington, DC., where President Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president.

I have only really been observing the VP’s style since the end of last year.

The little I have learned; dresses, and skirts are not her first choice.  And I have no issue with that.

On this occasion she wore a Sergio Hudson look.

The designer had an impressive day dressing two of the most iconic women at this event.

Sergio told WWD that he had originally designed a floor-length gown for Kamala, but since the inaugural ball was cancelled, they created a shorter sequin dress, with a floor length coat to go with it.

All we see is the coat.  But I have to say; construction, fit and fabric wise, this coat was much preferred over her day time coat.
