Demi Lovato gave an uplifting performance of Bill Withers’ track ‘Lovely Day’ during the Primetime Special ‘Celebrating America’ on Wednesday (January 20) for President Biden’s Inauguration, with some help from virtual backup singers (including some celebrities) from around the world.
Like Jennifer Lopez, the singer opted for a pant suit look.
Demi usually turns to bold colours, so I was surprised that she opted for this grey Stella McCartney Fall 2020 suit.
Formal as it might seem, I do love the cut of the suit, and I was delighted to see from the full shot that she got rid of the sash on the blazer, and shortened the trousers, as I would’ve been horrified had she performed for the President with the hem dragging on the floor.
The look was styled with Alison Lou ‘Jelly’ hoops and Casadei ankle strap heels.
