A lot of weddings were cancelled or pushed back last year due to the pandemic, so singer Caroline Vreeland must be delighted when she could finally wed her beau Nicolas Rico in New York City on December 7; exactly a year to the day of their first meeting at Art Basel.
Due to Covid restrictions, the nuptials were a very intimate affair with only 10 guests.
The two-metre rule would’ve been easy to abide by, as the train on the bride’s Giambattista Valli Spring 2019 Haute Couture gown was dramatically nine-foot long.
It was very much her day, and I don’t wish to rain on her parade, but my first thought was that this dress feels a little bit too twee.
She styled her gown with silver ankle strap shoes, and a lily bouquet, which was slightly ironic, considering Lily Collins wore this same dress to the 2019 Met Gala.
The look was much better suited to Lily IMO.
