Greta Gerwig In Christian Dior Haute Couture – 2020 Oscars

Greta Gerwig was also at the 2020 Oscars on Sunday (February 9) in LA.

If you were looking for more of the quirky, intriguing spirit of a look — like yesterday’s Film Independent Spirit Awards — you may be disappointed in this look.

The ‘Little Women’ director, who is nominated tonight for Best Adapted Screenplay, played it relatively safe tonight.

This Christian Dior Haute Couture ruched ball gown is traditionally elegant. And, that’s quite alright — the creases, not so alright. And, I’m not sure how I feel about that fringed hem.

I do think she found her stride in this forest-green hue matched with the emerald jewels on Greta — and her hair and makeup is radiant.
