Saoirse Ronan In Gucci – 2020 BAFTAs

Saoirse Ronan hasn’t really impressed us much with her red-carpet looks — starting with her ‘Little Women’ promo tour through awards season.

And, I don’t think that trend is set to change on the basis of her 2020 BAFTAs appearance on Sunday (February 2) in London.

That this black ball gown was a custom-made piece from the house of Gucci leaves me befuddled by the seeming ill-fitting qualities — especially around the bodice and dropped waist along with the skirt hemline.

I did love the look from the neck up, which also seems to be a trend of late with Saiorse.

She was stunning in colourful Gucci jewels, plus a neon-coral lip and intriguing, artsy updo. They were just begging for a better dress.
