Most of them are funny but true. I love your creativity Catherine.

Thank you Catherine! Always look forward to your thoughts on the whole matter.
I appreciate the best dressed choices….
Kerry washinton has nothing paid off though – thats easily on worst/thirsty dressed lists all around.
Jodies dress is stupid, as much as I adore her, but Joey kings dress is a superb version of IVH and I wish (we all) didn’t have fatigue of that design.

Anyways, enjoy the polls and list you put out!!!!!!!!!! always my fave.

I actually loved the fearlessness of Kerry’s look. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the skirt.

perhaps wasn’t the right event. But love that she wasn’t predictable

Gotta agree re: Kerry Washington. The look was so NOT Kerry to begin with. I can think of Kate Hudson or something even Charlize Theron’s stylist would put her in…those ladies at least had a chance of projecting the “fierce” sex appeal. Nothing paid off there for Kerry, even with her fab makeup. The nature of the “gown” itself (or should I say the cheap piece of fabric aka “the skirt” supported by a chain) will come across as “thirsty and desperate” no matter how well you style it.

..in general this piece belongs somewhere in a ‘model roundup’ where we are used to seeing a lot of fearless tackyness from the models. And I think we’ve actually seen it some time late last year on some model, I just can’t remember who or the event, it’s deja vu.

just wanted to ask why that award name did Charlie Theron? I thought she looked fabulous and it suited her while being different not to mention I don’t think it would have looked any different on Gal Gadot considering they basically same height

FC you killin me with the accurate Awards for Joey King, Jennifer Black Plague Aniston, Pretentious Rooney Mara, Gugu, and Sienna. And yes, Kerry’s look was a serve except for that f-cking skirt.

  11. Guest January 11, 2020 at 2:05 am #

Catherine, I’m always a fan of your roundups and you did not disappoint, this year’s GG’ roundup is one of your best. Favorites: Jennifer Lopez and Kirsten Dunst.

Though shocked no award for Gwyneth P.

Us Brits pride ourselves on being early ?

I liked the color but this is way too old for Zoey, and Josh for best dressed male?? sorry, can’t believe it. It’s hard even to comment on Kerry’s award (hair/makeup + blazer and sandals..I don’t know – 30% that didn’t help, maybe) And Jodie..all I can see is that ugly green gown, accessories make no difference….Margot Robbie – simple and relaxed yes, I actually liked it, but elegance at its finest?? And I don’t remember Cate’s makeup being much of an “offender”. I like Priyanka’s PB award (who also looks like a better, more standout candidate for channelling Old Hollywood award) and that’s about it. My apologies, I’m disagreeing a lot this time around, but I really enjoyed the coverage as usual it was great. Thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks for always supporting in the comments x

    Where is ana de armas?

Margot robbie should win most boring look of the night.

Best female tailoring should go to Zoey Dutch also. Look at the cut and sleeves of that outfit. I thought it was a gown but it’s a jumpsuit. That’s how good that outfit it

    • Guest January 10, 2020 at 10:23 pm #

Ana de Armas may have been safe, but she was exquisite all around. I feel like she deserved some kind of recognition.
And it’s not Margot Robbie’s award. It was a simple relaxed look but ‘elegance at its finest’?? “beachy” hair and all..sorry no.
And no mention of Zoe Kravitz with her flawlessly presented and clearly one of the most chic and interesting looks of the event while someone like Kerry Washington is getting a highly questionable shout-out… personally, can’t help but feel frustrated.

  17. Guest January 10, 2020 at 8:58 pm #

I love your roundups. Zoey is my best dressed too

  18. Guest January 10, 2020 at 8:17 pm #

Love the award titles better than almost all of the fashion. YOU bring the smiles!!

    • Guest January 10, 2020 at 8:20 pm #

Zoe nailed best use of color, but ohhhhh that blue on Rene.

    • Red Carpet Fashion Awards January 12, 2020 at 1:48 pm #

      Thanks Ellen x
