Laura Dern Wore Fendi Couture To The 2019 Gotham Awards

Laura Dern attended the 2019 IFP Gotham Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday (December 2) in New York City, where she received the Actress Tribute award.

It’s rare that I really love a Laura Dern look.   She often has some great moments, but none have made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

But then this Fendi Fall 2019 Couture dress happened

Ignoring the footwear peeking out from the skirt, I found myself swooning over the embroidered marble pattern bodice and padded skirt enriched with a mosaic print.

I think the fact the organza and tulle base is so close to her skin-tone is the secondary reason why she sells this look to me.

Following the Moncler 1 Pierpaolo Piccioli looks on Monday, could the padded skirt be a new trend?
