The 2019 Australians In Film Awards took place at the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City on Wednesday (October 23) in California, with some of Australia’s most talented actresses in attendance.
Naomi Watts: Susie Cave is a genius. She has managed to get Hollywood’s elite to buy into a simple silhouette that channels the strength and beauty of the female form, with exaggerated shoulders, made even more prominent by shirred sleeves and fluid, tiered skirt time and time again. Ladies and gentlemen, once again, I give you, The Vampire’s Wife. I happen to love this on Naomi. It suits her style, and the dark florals are perfectly timed for the new season.
Isla Fisher: Even if I didn’t like this Alexia María ‘Suzette’ gown, one thing that can’t be denied is the beautiful combo of red and green. But I do like the dress, especially the ruffle details on the bodice. I just wish the gown was a couple of inches shorter. Emerald and diamond jewels was the perfect way to accessorize this piece.
Ruby Rose: Not following the gala gown dress code, the actress rocked a shimmering suit from Ermanno Scervino. I would’ve been on board with this, had it not been for the jogger style trousers. Eva Fehren jewelry completed her look.
