Regina King Rocks Pinstripes For Black Girls Rock 2019

Awards season may be over, but Regina King is still collecting awards.

Picking up the ‘Star Power’ award at the 2019 Black Girls Rock event hosted in New Jersey on Sunday (August 25), the actress, who usually gives us gorgeous gowns, switched gears on this occasion.

Oscar de la Renta designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, are known for their quirky manipulations of classic silhouettes and this suit, crafted with cheeky and unexpected details – like the two types of pinstripes and contrasting sleeves, is a perfect example.

I do wish the look has been presented sans sash, but overall, I’m glad she doesn’t get lost in this oversized silhouette.
