Catherine, Duchess Of Cambridge Was Lovely In Lace For The State Dinner With The Trumps
Monday (June 3), marked the first day of the US president and First Lady’s three-day State Visit to the United Kingdom, and a helluva load of traffic in the capital.
The evening ended for the Trumps with State Banquet held a Buckingham Palace with all the royals in attendance, excluding the Sussex’s, so all eyes were on Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
The royal stepped out looking very much on trend with her bridal-esqe gown from Alexander McQueen.
Her ivory gown was awash with a cascading rows of tulle, but the biggest talking points were her accessories.
The Duchess gave a sweet nod to Princess Diana by wearing her late mother-in-law’s favourite tiara: the Cambridge Lover’s Knot, plus a pair of the Queen Mother’s sapphire and diamond earrings, which perfectly match her heirloom engagement ring passed down from Diana to Prince William.
The final touch?
The newest accessory, the blue sash signifying her new position as a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.
