Kylie Jenner In Atelier Versace – 2019 Met Gala

Call me crazy, but Kylie Jenner was on my list of favourites at the 2019 Met Gala celebrating ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ which took place on Monday (May 6) in New York City.

She not going to rock up in a suit, so this Atelier Versace custom-made strapless mermaid silhouette gown with a feather trim was very “brand Kylie,” but not in a way I found off putting, or nauseating.

At the end of the day this is a Versace design, and the beauty is in the detail. 

I’m mesmerized by the Swarovski crystals chain pattern embroidery, the way in which she carried herself in this look, the complementary hair and the clear nod to Lil’ Kim’s 1999 MTV Video Music Awards look.
