2019 Directors Guild Of America Awards

Lovely ladies joined Marina de Tavira and Helen Mirren at the 2019 DGA Awards on Saturday (February 2) in Hollywood, California.
Sarah Paulson: The ‘Ocean’s 8’ actress shimmered in a metallic Miu Miu gown. The cut-out silhouette and inky black accessories – including Jimmy Choo’s ‘Helix’ pumps – helped remove any disco connotations.
Yalitza Aparicio: The ‘Roma’ actress projected a dreamy mood in pastel Delpozo Spring 2019. It’s a sweet look, but bolder colours would have done wonders for her complexion.
Constance Wu: She has been on an experimental streak and this twinkling Miu Miu gown plays into that. Between the choker and feathers, it might be a hard sell. There’s an interesting witchy mood to it, but the pooling hem brings it down.

Elsie Fisher: The young actress continues to play with fashion in Akris Pre-Fall 2019. Even with the tailoring, it still presents a fun, youthful spirit and earns her style points.
Linda Cardellini: The ‘Green Book’ actress made a darker balletic statement in Armani Prive. The detailing is exquisite but the silhouette and colours aren’t the best for her. It’s washing her out.
Isla Fisher: Demonstrating that redheads can most definitely wear red, the ‘Tag’ actress wore Reem Acra. The sultry style was wrapped up for a stunning finish.
