Ruth Wilson In Attico – ‘Luther’ London Photocall

Brooding detective John Luther (Idris Elba) is back for a nightmarish new case, with the sociopathic serial killer with a temptress edge Alice Morgan (Ruth Wilson).

The four-part drama of the BBC hit ‘Luther’ will return for series 5 in 2019, and this was announced a photocall in London on Tuesday (December 11).

Judging by this Ruth’s look, Attico’s design duo Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini were influenced by the ’80s when designing this puff sleeves, padded shouldered dress.

I know many view all ’80s dresses in a bad light, but I love both the strong silhouette and bold hue.

Ruth has never been one to play it safe with fashion, so this look is a perfect representation of her style.

Aquzzara sandals complete her look.

I tend to find Ruth’s style a bit boring, but this is great. I love the cut and fun color. A nice step outside the box for her.

The dress is awful now and would have been awful in the 80s.

The dress is pretty awful and I don’t think it was the right choice for her shape.

I’m not big on 80s fashion but I kind of like the dress but more on the model with that styling then Ruth’s as I don’t like those sandals and wish the bun was lower down.
