2018 British Independent Film Awards
There were many more talented ladies who attended the 2018 British Independent Film Awards, which took place in London on Sunday (December 2), and some even followed the pink dress code set by Gemma Arterton and Ellie Bamber.
Naomi Ackie: Now this is how you seduce me in red. The ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ actress also had me captivated with the cape-effect of her look, plus the rainbow hued bag, and dazzling jewels. The jury is still out on the embellished platforms.
Molly Wright: ‘The A Word’ actress looked ever so dreamy in Dior. I know some of you are over these types of sheer, nude tulle gowns, but I’m swept away by the fantasy and beauty of it all.
Jodie Whittaker: Part of the pink posse, I did like Jodie’s APHID ruffled dress, but I feel like a less fussy shoe would’ve been a more elegant option for that step hem.
Ariane Labed: The French actress opted for Chloe again, this time selecting a Pre-Fall 2018 key-hole dress styled with a embossed croco effect mini Chloé C clutch and Chloe ‘Valeria’ cuff.
Samantha Morton: Yep, this was another interpretation of The Vampire’s Wife cult dress, which Samantha amped up with green eye makeup.
Michaela Coel: The ‘Black Earth Rising’ star often credits her mother for making her African-inspired red carpet looks, and it looks like Mummy did a great job with ruffled shoulder mini given an edge with lace up sandals.
Olivia Colman: Ms Colman has great style, so I’m disappointed the fabric of this dress let her down…badly.
Maxine Peake: There were no such issues in the fabric department when it came to Maxine’s Roksanda Fall 2018 dress. I just couldn’t get on board with the style of the dress.
