Tessa Thompson In Christopher John Rodgers – Jimmy Kimmel Live

Tessa Thompson In Christopher John Rodgers - Jimmy Kimmel Live

Tessa Thompson paid a visit to ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Tuesday (November 13) to discuss ‘Creed II.’

She has an experimental spirit in terms of fashion, but I’m sure many will be uncertain about what this Christopher John Rodgers Spring 2019 look is about.

I could have perhaps got behind the lookbook version if it was worn to the right event and styled in an appropriate manner, but it feels very out of place for the late night appearance.

And with the belt, it almost feels like she has borrowed the outfit from a period film set.

Love the fabrics and colours together…we need Christian Siriano to take this a re-make it into something awesome!

Maid Marian but made fashion comes to mind but it’s quirky and more interesting than quite a few late night talk show outfits and I do like the pumps.

I am intrigued. I agree with FC, this would have worked better on the red carpet.

I don’t mind costumey looks at all because do you want people to only wear suits or like sheath, wrap or A-line dresses???

I have to give this one a hard no from neck to toe.

I love it in the lookbook, but I think they were right to downplay the period piecey-ness of it all with the trendy hat and the PVC shoes. Without those elements it reads very Keira Knightley in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Tessa definitely leaned too far into costume territory.

No. It’s hideous on the model and it’s almost as bad on Tessa.
