Lupita Nyong’o In Ralph Lauren – WSJ. Magazine 2018 Innovator Awards

Lupita Nyong’o In Ralph Lauren - WSJ Magazine 2018 Innovator Awards

Lupita Nyong’o joined Cara Delevingne on the red carpet for the WSJ. Magazine 2018 Innovator Awards on Wednesday (November 7) in New York City.

The actress kept things simple wearing a Ralph Lauren jumpsuit from the Spring 2019 collection.

I find myself in unfamiliar territory, as I don’t like the look.

Aside from the creases this look is clearly too big for her. So much so that she’s had to hike up the waist which resulted in unflattering bunching.

Perhaps if they has tailored the trousers this wouldn’t have been an issue.

This is a huge shame as I see that could’ve been a great look, especially with the styling.

Apart from the tailoring issues I like it

Aww too bad about the pants. I just cant like them. Hiked up too high and still dragging on the floor.

Really not a fan of this. Even her make up, which is usually impeccable, is lessening rather enhancing her beauty. Hair great though!

I don’t know how to feel about the jumpsuit but i like the styling hair especially.

I love this except for the pants dragging on the floor. She looks amazing.

I don’t get the obsession with creases? How are those people supposed to sit in their cars without having creases on their clothes? You have to stay still and not move an inch if you don’t want any creases and it’s not possible unless you’re a mannequin! I do agree about the tailoring part though. Most celebrities aren’t all tall and slender like Julia Roberts or Nicole Kidman so it doesn’t make any sense all those tailoring issues they keep having.

I agree. Everyone gets creases sometimes when going somewhere in a car.

I can’t believe that those involved with fashion/celebrity dressing still don’t understand that most clients and people aren’t 6ft/1.80m. I mean has no one in the biz heard of a clothes steamer and basic seeing skills to tailor pants and skirts (Shark Tank/Dragon’s Den, here I come). This would have been a good look but I’m not a fan of the dark lip and necklace with it either.
