Karen Gillan In Vera Wang Collection – Philadelphia Film Festival

Karen Gillan received the Artistic Achievement in Independent Film Award for her directorial debut, ‘The Party’s Just Beginning’ during the 27th Philadelphia Film Festival Closing Night Awards Ceremony on Friday (October 26) in Pennsylvania.

Always one to opt for something with plenty of artistic flare, the actress wore a Vera Wang Collection Fall 2018 black power mesh mannequin dress with structured cups, armor sleeves and French tulle overskirt.

I know you’re thinking, “not sheer again.”

I think this has more to do with the flash of the camera – which is so bright it almost washes out her skintone – rather than the removal any layers from this piece.

As a look this sits firmly in her wheelhouse, so I’m totally buying into it.

Red lips add a vampy element, while Stella Luna ‘Indispensable’ classic pumps ground the look.
