Odessa A’zion Makes the Charles & Ron Runway Look Her Own at LACMA Gala
Odessa A’zion is our resident “go-against-the-grain” girl, and she stayed true to form at the 2026 LACMA Art+Film Gala on Saturday evening.

The actress wore a look from Charles & Ron’s Fall 2025 Sirocco collection, and there is so much to love here. The rich crimson colour, the lustrous fabric and the exaggerated volume make this coat more than worthy of the occasion.

What I particularly appreciate is how Odessa made the runway look her own. Gone were the sheer black lace bodysuit and futuristic sunglasses, with the coat reworked into an off-the-shoulder gown that feels more suited to a gala, while still retaining the unconventional spirit of the original design.

But then we get to the brown suede lace-up boots, which really dampen the mood for me.
Odessa loves these voluminous silhouettes, so we rarely get a clear picture of her footwear choices, but I can’t help thinking how fabulous this would have looked with a pair of strappy metallic-red sandals.
That said, the boots make complete sense for Odessa’s personal style. She has never been one to follow traditional red carpet rules, and I wouldn’t expect her to start now.

I also love the layered necklaces, which feel like another reflection of her individual approach to dressing. And while the footwear isn’t my favourite, I can’t deny that the overall look feels entirely Odessa, from her unconventional styling choices to her refusal to dress according to anyone else’s expectations.
