Claire Foy In Christian Dior – ‘The Crown’ Season 2 London Premiere

All eyes were on Claire Foy who attended the season 2 world premiere of Netflix ‘The Crown’ at the Odeon Leicester Square on Tuesday (November 21) in London, alongside co-stars Matt Smith, Vanessa Kirby and Gillian Anderson.

Before you dismiss this Christian Dior Spring 2018 dress off as just another sparkling frock, please take a look at the close up detail of the embroidery, as you’re likely to be blown away by the craftsmanship as this floor-sweeping piece is worthy of stares.

I found the look totally beguiling, as the colours enhance the drama while the fluid fit keeps the look elegant, effortless and refined.

‘The Crown’ season 2 will premiere globally on Friday December 8, 2017.

The close up of the embroidery is beautiful but overall the look comes across as frumpy. Removal of the collar would have improved things slightly.

As far as Dior goes, the dress really is one of the better ones, but I don’t think it was the right choice for Claire… the barely existing styling doesn’t help sell it.

This is a lovely dress but on someone else and someone much taller such as a Cate Blanchett and . It looks better on Claire Foy from the side but looking at it from the front it doesn’t do a thing for her.

wow. Gorgeous fabric, but the cut is so unflattering on her, she looks a mile wide.

I love her face and the short hair, though i would prefer a sassier hair cut.

So much embellishment but it makes for a lacklustre look,I really dislike this

    Frumpy. Muddy color.

This is not flattering in colour or cut.

I completely agree with you Catherine. Upon closer look at the dress, it really is an incredible piece. I think Claire looks lovely.

So Drab and aging. The only saving grace is her beautiful face.

The length looks a bit awkward and the silhouette is not entirely flattering on her, but she looks lovely overall – pretty, sparkly embroidery and nice fresh-faced beauty look.

    This is terrible.

ITA. I’d even say awful — the color (yuck) and the unflattering silhouette are bad.
