Aubrey Plaza In Prada – ‘Ingrid Goes West’ London Film Festival Premiere

Aubrey Plaza worked a variation on the feather trend at the ‘Ingrid Goes West’ premiere at the London Film Festival on Saturday (October 7).

The lemony hue of this Prada gown mixed with the flourishes of cerulean blue was lovely.

But, it was the addition of the wispy, random feathers that led to a certain half-plucked nature that we can chalk up to the quirkier side of the label.

Seeing a close-in view of the bodice, there seemed to be some minor fit issues, as well.

Would you agree?

I wish she’d done her hair, rather than a casual ponytail. Maybe down or half up would have softened the look. A red lip would have added an interesting element (and maybe distracted a little from the ill-fitting dress).

It’s a shame about the fit, because the dress is quite Aubrey’s style.

    The fit… That’s not a minor issue, that’s a deal-breaker.

I don’t think I understand what a stylist does because I do not understand how a stylist could send a client out in something that totally does not fit. To me the bodice is not a minor fit issue, it is too sloppy for that. Fit is my pet peeve. Other than the fit issues, the dress is ugly/quirky which kind of fits into Aubrey’s sort of quirky, fun style.

Can’t believe this is Prada. I like the quirky vibe of the dress on her but it is so poorly made and fitted that it doesn’t work.

not so bad but the fit is poor. Seriously who’s her stylist?

Her stylist is Jessica Paster, the stylist of Emily Blunt.

It looks like there’s spiders on that dress. Ew.

Like majority of the times with Prada, the fit is awful.

    This looks so cheap!
The fit, the fabric, the black feathers, this is the bad Prada, not the Lea Seydoux Prada 🙂
