Alba Rorhwacher In Valentino – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Alba Rorhwacher joined Marion Cotillard for the ‘Ismael’s Ghosts (Les Fantomes d’Ismael)’ Cannes Film Festival photocall this afternoon (May 17) in Cannes, France.

Opting out of the velvet version of this Valentino Fall 2017 dress, Alba opted for leather?

Well due to the construction of the piece it doesn’t appear to be too heavy, even though she went down the Nicolas Ghesquière mode of styling her dress with ankle boots.

I can’t say I’m blown away, but she makes it work.

The boots and the dress are just too heavy. Save it for night time event, and pass the boots. Wear dainty sandals would be more appropriate.

      Agreed. Not for this event

That’s like 30 degrees in Cannes that’s not really season appropriate

The design paired with the boots looks a bit like Valentino trying to be as edgy as LV, just that the result is far from having the cool vibes of an actual LV look.

She always wears a bad Valentino outfit.

That is seriously heavy looking and just totally unappealing dress.

She looks like she’s ready to go line dancing.

It’s not a bad look but really not event and season appropriate.

Yes. This is a winter look, and I can’t see this at Cannes Festival.

I think it’s just an ugly dress, too. This can’t be saved.

I agree with you, Charlotte. She makes it work for her, but it is most definitely not a look for spring and Cannes.
