Paz Vega In Jorge Acuña – 2017 Goya Awards

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been waiting patiently for the princess gown moment of the 2017 Goya Awards, which were hosted on Saturday (February 4) in Madrid—and Paz Vega delivered it.

Granted, hers was of a significantly darker, more dramatic variety with the slim turtleneck top and feathered ball skirt of this Jorge Acuña confection delivering an intriguing black swan edge.

Her jet-black pixie cut and red lip worked to heighten the mystique of the look even more.

I love this! This dress would have been perfect on Winona Ryder, hot off the release of The Black Swan back in 2010!

Love the attitude she has – she totally pulls it off!

This is just bizarre for me.

It’s a bit of a marmite look, borne out by the comments. I fall on the side of loving it. So fierce!

Perfection. What makes this so stunning is her confidence that she’s the cat’s meow without having to resort to showing her girly bits on the red carpet. This is a woman’s outfit and would never work on a starlet.

Part of me likes the understated sweater with the skirt and part of me wishes for a more dressy bodice. But the extravagant skirt is lovely as is the hair and makeup.

I cannot love it completely. She does look pretty and elegant but it’s just way too dark for me..

She was the best dressed of the event for me, so classic yet so modern. Also, the combination of the hair + the turtleneck loos so chic. Any other kind of top or bodice would’ve made the gown too standard imo

This I nothing short of amazing. Loving the hair as well.

    This is ahh-mazingg!!
Goya Awards always gives me atleast one BDOTY nominee and it’s Paz Vega this time. Her pixie cut is the perfect way to compliment the turtleneck neckline. Any other haircut wouldn’t have brought the drama to this gown. Loved loved it h2t.

I like the dramatic skirt, but the turtleneck lets the look down imo. it just looks too casual and restricting.
