2015 Tribeca Film Festival Chanel Artists Dinner

The 2015 Tribeca Film Festival Chanel Artists Dinner was hosted at Balthazar in New York City on Monday (April 20), where the fashion house’s famous fans gathered to raise a toast.

Zoe Kravitz: While it was lovely to see the actress’s softer side in this Chanel ensemble consisting of a pink cropped sweater and flirty, flared patterned skirt, I simply couldn’t get past those white pumps.

Cobie Smulders: I loved Cobie’s Chanel outing which artfully combined patterns in a painterly, watercolour top and tweed trousers. Her ‘Ladies First’ handbag put the final tongue-in-cheek zing into the look.

Michiel Huisman: He wore a navy Jack Wills suit and Haspel Clothing Hawaiian-print shirt with wife Tara Elders in an army-green dress and black shoulder bag. While it’s hard to argue with the actor’s handsome gaze, I simply don’t understand this island-inspired look on this occasion.

Lake Bell: Again channeling a more androgynous mood, she donned a plum-hued satin top, black trousers, and a gray overcoat. The fall-inspired look was nearly a bit too covered up for its own good.

Joan Smalls: Putting her pins on display in a sweet babydoll dress, the model edged up the ensemble with double cuffs and patterned pumps with a boho braided half-up, half-down ’do completing the look.

Anja Rubik: The model really got the party started with her Chanel confetti dress featuring bright, candy-coloured embellishment and pleated detailing. While it’s not an easy design to wear, Anja’s statuesque frame is the advantage here. You may remember that Lupita Nyong’o wore this frock last year.

Maggie Q: Bringing a flash of seductive intrigue to the event, the actress wore a sheer lace top with high-waisted trousers and a cape-inspired jacket. Remove the tassel necklace, slick the hair into a ponytail, and capitalize on the vampy vibe with a smoky eye, and we’d have a look.

Nora Zehetner: Injecting a pop of bubblegum-pink to her Chanel look via her shoulder bag, Zora put a cheerful, youthful spin on this graphic, patterned sheath dress.

Karlie Kloss: I loved the model’s adorable-chic, baby-blue Chanel frock—until I saw the nude ballet flats. That’s okay, I will choose to ignore them.
