Queen Máxima of the Netherlands In Claes Iversen & Jan Taminiau – Denmark State Visit Arrival and Dinner

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands In Claes Iversen & Jan Taminiau - Denmark State Visit Arrival and Dinner

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands was spotted at the Copenhagen Airport, signaling the start of her Dutch State visit to Denmark on Tuesday (March 17), where she later attended a state banquet dinner at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen. It was lovely that, on both occasions, she opted to represent both The Netherlands and Denmark with her selection of designers.

Look 1: Traveling in the most sophisticated style, she wore a gray coat by Dutch-Danish designer Claes Iversen. The slight cocoon shaping and the allover embellishment elevated the outerwear to regal proportions. A matching gray hat, gray gloves, and Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels completed the elegantly monochromatic essence of the look.

Look 2: Switching from subtle gray to standout blue, Queen Máxima stunned in her royal-blue gown from Dutch designer Jan Taminiau, accessorized with plenty of sparkle via a diamond-and-sapphire-encrusted tiara and matching sapphire earrings. Although this dress and much of the styling is a rerun from two years ago, when she wore the design with a floor-sweeping cape, it still has the power to captivate. Without the cape, more of the lace-embellished shoulder detail comes into view. However, are you equally enamoured with its repeat showing?
