Get The Look: Diane Kruger’s FOX All-Star Party Tousled Tresses
Celebrity hairstylist Kylee Heath created Diane Kruger’s tousled tresses for the FOX All-Star Party during the 2014 Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour.
She started by applying Kerastase Volumactive Mousse from roots to ends on damp hair, adding a small amount of Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil Serum to the ends.
Then she combed the product through and created a straight middle part with a rat-tail comb before blowing the hair out with a Croc Eco Blow Dryer and an Ibiza round brush.
She then started in the front to create smoothness and shine in the front sections, lightly rough-drying the rest of the hair, tucking the front sections behind Diane’s ears.
The desired result was contrast â smooth on the top, moving into lots of texture.
She then sprayed the hair mid-shaft through ends with Leonor Greyl Voluforme Styling Spray.
Kylee created a textured bend from the top of the ear through the ends by alternating with the Enzo Milano Bi-Tube Curling Iron and a smoothing iron. She rocked the smoothing iron forward and backward to create a smoothed-out zigzag bend. The Enzo iron created a more exaggerated version of the same bend. In creating a texture like this, it is important to use different sizes of bend.
After spraying Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray from mid-shaft through ends and lightly teased the hair underneath for added volume, she finished the look by applying a small amount of Kevin Murphy Easy Rider for any flyaways and a light spray throughout the hair with Oribe Superfine Strong Hairspray.
