Emma Stone In Atelier Versace – ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro’ World Premiere

Emma Stone In Atelier Versace - 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Rise of Electro' World Premiere

London’s Leicester Square was taken over for the world premiere of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ held at The Odeon this evening (April 10).

As expected, Emma Stone didn’t let us down, gracing the red carpet wearing a stunning yellow Atelier Versace pleated open-back custom gown featuring Swarovksi crystal enriched padded shoulders and a waistband nipping her in at the waist creating a subtle bloussant effect.

The look is wonderfully glamorous and couldn’t be more impeccable choice for a world premiere, plus the colour is perfect, not only for her colouring, but also for the current season.

Working glorious old-Hollywood screen-siren waves, she completed her look with a David Webb 18k yellow gold double lion necklace with emerald eyes and Revlon rouge pout.

So I’m in the major minority and don’t really love this dress. I don’t really like it either. I spent the whole weekend looking at it & trying to get as excited as everyone else, but I just don’t get it. I really dislike the pleating fabric of the skirt. I really don’t like the elastic looking waist. And that necklace is a major no go for me. Unfortunately, I just don’t get all the excitement. I don’t think yellow gets me super excited either. I notice when there is a yellow dress everyone just goes nuts, but not so much for me. I love getting excited by fashion, but unfortunately I wasn’t moved by this look.

I love the color of the dress but I am really concerned about how thin she looks! seems to have lost too much weight

  3. Dhppy April 11, 2014 at 19:46 #

It’s quite lovely, and so tastefully serene for Versace.

  4. pinksugar April 11, 2014 at 15:36 #

SO glad to see the ‘old’ Emma making an appearance! Finally some color and something that doesn’t age her ten years. She looks a bit thin but other than that, sensational.

Love it! Love her beautiful honey blondish red color she’s got going on now.

  8. Fatima April 11, 2014 at 07:32 #

The color is memorizing. I love yellow, but the actual design I’m not too crazy about. It’s still a lovely look because of the unique shade.

  9. Dan oliver April 11, 2014 at 07:25 #

Wow this is stunning love the colour on her skin tone and her hair the lip colour is great to. I love the open back and slit she looks flawless.

So I guess I will stand alone when I say I am rather underwhelmed. I got super excited when I glimpsed the yellow as I made my way down the page but the overall look is rather..frumpy. The fit of the bodice looks extremely strange, almost like she is not really fitting the dress. I also do not care for the nipped waist which makes the dress look rather cheap. In general, the only good thing about this dress is the color. I also do not care for that necklace.

  14. Ramsay April 11, 2014 at 00:22 #

I like it a lot – and i like her for finding that very difficult equilibrium between wearing a gown but still not being over dressed for a movie premiere
Despite the beading, the loose fit gives this dress a certain nonchalant quality and makes it “a not oscar dress”
    Which is the point really
Cause I have criticised so many of the new generation actresses for too often going over the top for their movie premieres but this particular dress feels just right – it’s couture yes but a “casual couture” and it is perfect for the occasion
    Well done!

  15. AnderBoBo April 10, 2014 at 23:32 #

I stare agape at how wonderful this is. EVERYTHING works. I haven’t liked a yellow red carpet look this much since Michelle Williams in Vera Wang at the Oscars years ago. That is one of my favorite red carpet looks ever, and this one ranks right up there. Fashion chills!

    • Ellie April 11, 2014 at 00:24 #

Two stunning yellow looks, for sure! That Michelle Williams gown is one of my all-time favorites.

      • cherrysoftness April 11, 2014 at 03:10 #

Me, too, it brought me back to that moment in a good way – that was just one of the red carpet moments I never can top in my heart.

Oh my God my ears actually felt a little warm after seeing this, the whole “goosebumps!” expression ins’t just an expression!

  30. Fer April 10, 2014 at 20:01 #

I live for moments like this. No matter what she wears, she always put a smile in my face each time I see photos of her in the red carpet.

    She looks perfect.

  31. Cuteboy April 10, 2014 at 19:55 #

She looks BEYOND stunning! Old glamour at its best! BDOTY so far, imo.

    Utter perfection from head-to-toe.

  37. Lucy April 10, 2014 at 19:21 #
