Christina Hendricks In L’Wren Scott – PaleyFest 2014 Honouring ‘Mad Men’

Christina Hendricks In L'Wren Scott - PaleyFest 2014 Honouring 'Mad Men'Christina Hendricks joined the ‘Mad Man’ mix at PaleyFest 2014 on Friday (March 21) for an event honouring the show, where Elisabeth Moss, Kiernan Shipka and Jessica Pare were also in attendance at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The actress celebrated a voluptuous, vintage spirit, while perhaps paying tribute to designer L’Wren Scott, in a Fall 2012 frock, which has previously been worn by fellow L’Wren Scott devotees including Penelope Cruz and Ellen Barkin.

While some of the slinky fluidity of the runway rendition was lost, along with the waist bow, the more structured, emerald-green midi dress still aptly complemented Christina’s curves—and her flame-red wavy bob.

Her shiny gold clutch and pumps enhanced the metallic embellishment at the sleeves and waist, whilst a careful rose-red lip kept everything in check, without becoming too brash.

I don’t love this dress and I don’t love it on her. The color is good, but it is a very bad length for her and the bodice emphasizes her bust and not in a good way.

    Love everything about this.

Love this green on a redhead.
Love the fit of the dress.
    Love the gold accessories.

Love the fact that she chose to wear a L’Wren Scott dress.

    Kudos Christina!

I like her styling with the complementary gold accessories, the best choice of the 3, the green colour is gorgeous with her flame-red hair, the dress is more fitted on Christina and accommodates her curves nicely. Glad she skipped the bow (it would’ve been too much with her standout bust) – this way, it is tastefully toned down with the simple sleekness of the skirt. She looks fab.

not many ‘average’ women will wear the dress as shown on the model.
the flowy-ness is very apparent b/c she is probably a size double negative zero

I think she wore and styled this dress best.
