Get The Look: Lupita Nyong'o SAG Awards Manicure

SAG Award winner, Lupita Nyong’o was certainly the bell of that ball at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. While the beautiful star stunned in a teal-blue Gucci gown, it was her copper manicure that was doing most of the sparkling. Deborah Lippmann took her nail expertise to the next level by creating a unique look exclusively from her nail lacquer collection for the featured red carpet starlet.

Starting with a fortified and chip resistant base, Deborah chose to coat nails in her Gel Lab Base Coat. This starter coat not only prolongs a manicure but it protects nails without any harsh gel lights.

For colour, Deborah created a new shade by layering two polishes. For the first color, she opted for a single coat of Swagga Like Us, an oxidized cooper color with a hint of teal. The mirrored chrome finish of the polish served as a festive base for next nail shade.

Deborah followed with one coat of Chain Reaction, a dirty brass glimmer colour. Featured in her latest ‘Rock This Town’ trio collection, the muted shimmer finish of the polish looked especially radiant layered over the previous shade. The blended polished made for a beautifully shimmering copper colour that perfectly complimented her full look.

Finally, to seal the picture perfect manicure, Deborah polished nails in Gel Lab Top Coat.
