Harpers Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Harpers Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet RoundupThe fashionable femmes just kept flooding the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, hosted at Claridge’s Hotel in London, England on Tuesday evening. Alongside the starlets, a sweep of models and designers also took to the red carpet.

Natalia Vodianova: The Russian model, who was named Philanthropist of the Year, smiled brightly in a simply chic Stella McCartney Spring 2014 black and navy gown that managed to be both sporty and sleek with a cutout mock-halter neckline and graphic, cerulean colour-block panels at the sides. A Stella McCartney black faux-leather clutch—and what seemed to be barely a slick of makeup—finished this natural beauty’s effortless look.

L’Wren Scott: To accept her ‘Tastemaker of the Year’ award, presented by Olivia Munn, the statuesque designer donned a custom Lady Wisteria dress from her namesake collection. She wore the Asian-inspired, black silk crepe marocain number, with hand-shaded, red thread embroideries, with a pair of crimson, bow-topped pumps. The frock’s thigh-high slit only accented those mile-long legs.

Frida Giannini: The Gucci Creative Director, who received the ‘International Designer’ of the year award, flaunted a Gucci long-sleeve, low-back gown, in a glittery lurex black, silver and platinum leopard pattern. It was edgy-glam at its finest.

Jourdan Dunn: The cat walker, who claimed the Model of the Year prize, strutted out a Tom Ford black-and-white panel gown with side slit and a matching Stark clutch. While this monochrome moment was a mix of sophistication and sexiness, her slinky after-party number from Julien Macdonald’s Spring 2014 collection was just plain sexy. The sheer, netted gold number left little to the imagination—and even littler room for undergarments.
