Harpers Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Harpers Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet RoundupThe fashionable femmes just kept flooding the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, hosted at Claridge’s Hotel in London, England on Tuesday evening. Alongside the starlets, a sweep of models and designers also took to the red carpet.

Natalia Vodianova: The Russian model, who was named Philanthropist of the Year, smiled brightly in a simply chic Stella McCartney Spring 2014 black and navy gown that managed to be both sporty and sleek with a cutout mock-halter neckline and graphic, cerulean colour-block panels at the sides. A Stella McCartney black faux-leather clutch—and what seemed to be barely a slick of makeup—finished this natural beauty’s effortless look.

L’Wren Scott: To accept her ‘Tastemaker of the Year’ award, presented by Olivia Munn, the statuesque designer donned a custom Lady Wisteria dress from her namesake collection. She wore the Asian-inspired, black silk crepe marocain number, with hand-shaded, red thread embroideries, with a pair of crimson, bow-topped pumps. The frock’s thigh-high slit only accented those mile-long legs.

Frida Giannini: The Gucci Creative Director, who received the ‘International Designer’ of the year award, flaunted a Gucci long-sleeve, low-back gown, in a glittery lurex black, silver and platinum leopard pattern. It was edgy-glam at its finest.

Jourdan Dunn: The cat walker, who claimed the Model of the Year prize, strutted out a Tom Ford black-and-white panel gown with side slit and a matching Stark clutch. While this monochrome moment was a mix of sophistication and sexiness, her slinky after-party number from Julien Macdonald’s Spring 2014 collection was just plain sexy. The sheer, netted gold number left little to the imagination—and even littler room for undergarments.

Would love L’Wren’s with now slit. Jourdan looks ok; the other two aren’t working.

Natalia is wearing spring 2014? This looks almost identical to all those other Stella dresses from last year…

Jourdan is wearing Tom Ford fall 2013. It’s a variation of the dress Julianne Moore wore at the Golden Globes in January.

Jourdan looks good–and that’s saying something because, as gorgeous as she is, she’s so often headed for Tackyville.

L’Wren’s outfit certainly has the most potential, but I think the dramatic shoulders need way more balancing in a substantial skirt. So I’d really to take those excess sleeves and staple them onto her skirt making it a gown.

The others aren’t really worth considering (although in Natalia’s case it might be the unfortunate pose. She looks better in the picture with Jourdan).

L’Wren Scott is a standout to me, love her unexpected, bold, asian-inspired dress. And also like Natalia’s simple, sleek and elegant look.

My favorites are Frida & Natalia !

FC, are you going to feature Nicole Scherzinger looks from the XFactor?

I can’t as I don;t have rights to publish the images.

But you post images of Kelly Rowland or Rita Ora from Instagram. Isn’t that the same thing if you take them from Nicole’s twitter?
I’m sure you know what you’re doing but i don’t understand the difference.
