Berenice Bejo In Elie Saab – ‘Zulu’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere and Closing Ceremony

Berenice Bejo In Elie Saab - 'Zulu' Cannes Film Festival Premiere and Closing Ceremony

Berenice Bejo joined many of her French peers on the red carpet this evening at the Palais des Festivals in France for the ‘Zulu’ premiere and Closing Ceremony for the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
The actress wore an Elie Saab teal over-the-knee dress.

Opting for a matchy matchy look, Berenice added teal suede Elie Saab shoes and a teal embroidered Elie Saab clutch to her look; even her nails were painted in the same teal hue.

The only colour other than teal here are her silver earrings and her rouge lip colour.

I love this colour; it’s so rich and warm, so I found the dark lip colour was complementary.

Do you like the matchy matchiness of this look or did you find it too one-note?

    Frumpy Frumperson.

Wish it flattered her more, otherwise I love the dress and her styling (most actresses seem to wear their hair like this when they wear a knee-length Elie Saab–I think Laetita Casta did it once!) but I wish it was a more dramatic look for her big win and the closing event.

Best actress!! Congratulations to her. A dress to match the occasion would have been wonderful.

      Agreed! Such a shame.

Teal is my favourite colour (my friends even make fun at me for buying lots of things in this colour) but even I can’t get excited by this.
It’s doing nothing for her figure, and the styling is dull.
Also, I’m okay with matchy- matchy…as long as things actually match! Here everything is in a slightly different shade of teal/blue.

Now if you’ll excuse me I’ll go back coveting those Loubutins…

I like the colour combinations in the close up, but that’s really it.

I really like her accessories, I think I actually like them more than I do her dress.

Ugly grandma tea party dress and boring shoes. Plus she needs a better bra.
She’s seriously underdressed IMO, it’s Cannes Closing Ceremony for God’s sake! The only thing I like about this look is the hair and berry lips.

I am also tired of this ridiculous “I need to pee!” posture.

I don’t mind the matchiness in this case, the bold lippie is a perfect finishing accent, not loving the suede pumps. It’s pretty enough overall but way underwhelming for the event.

I don’t mind the matchy matchiness. Actually I really like her styling and I love the dress itself, but I think it’s too twee for her and underwhelming for the closing ceremony.

She looks beautiful but I think I would prefer different shoes

I really really love this look ! And Bérénice !

Totally underwhelming and rather frumpy. Urghhh. This is Cannes! Where’s the drama? Go big or go home!

I agree. Totally underwhelming, even more so because she won the prize for best female performance. Maybe she thought she wouldn’t win since Adele Exarchopoulos was the front runner for the prize.
