Salvatore Ferragamo Celebrates 35 years of the iconic 'Vara'

On Tuesday night, Salvatore Ferragamo celebrated 35 years of the iconic Vara and the launch of the online project L’Icona curated by photographer Claiborne Swanson Frank in New York City.

Eva Longoria: The TV star opted to wear a white lace macramé sleeveless dress from the Spring 2013 collection, which she styled with white studded pumps and a gold-trimmed signature Ferragamo ‘Medina’ clutch. You may remember that Olga Kurylenko wore a short-sleeved version of this dress while being interviewed on Extra during her ‘Oblivion’ promo tour.

Lily Aldridge: Also opting for a Spring 2013 Ferragamo look, the model wore a textural cotton shift dress with luxe leather panels for an urban spin on a classic LBD. Christian Louboutin pumps with an asymmetrical strap added a sleek touch to her look.

Azealia Banks: Did she match her hair and eyebrows to her pants or her pants to her hair and eyebrows? This is the question I would like answered. Either way, this isn’t one of her best looks.

L’Icona is a limited edition service which launched to the public online for the first time icona.ferragamo.com, which enables you to customize the iconic ‘Vara’ mid-heels.
