Ana de Armas In Dolce & Gabbana – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Ana de Armas was one of the lovely ladies at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California, along with Rosie Huntington-WhiteleyGal Gadot, Betty Gabriel and Abbie Cornish.

The Cuban actress brought a playful party spirit in a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2018 gown.

She kept accessories to a minimum, allowing the shimmering berry dress to take on a feminine, vintage sentiment with the fitted waist and pleated skirt.

Given the rich embellishment on the fabric, I think she could have carried off the original version with the sheer skirt and still projected the same mood.

Of course, I’m sure many will prefer the version with the lining.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Ralph & Russo Couture – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley graced the red carpet at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, joining Gal Gadot, Betty Gabriel and Abbie Cornish.

The model looked like a goddess in a Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 Couture gown.

The wispy layers of mint green add ethereal softness to the structured, glistening strapless silhouette.

It’s the contrasting elements and unexpected draping that give the dress such dimension, but the overall feeling of the look is of romance and beauty.

Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and soft hair and makeup completed the style.

Betty Gabriel In Pamella Roland – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

At the 2018 Oscars, I took issue with Betty Gabriel’s visible underwear killing what would have been a beautiful look. I’m afraid I’m experiencing a bit of déjà vu with her ensemble at the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4).

When I first glanced at the ‘Get Out’ actress’s Pamella Roland Pre-Fall 2018 gown, I was pleased to see the addition of the lining to negate the naked feel of the original.

The modification worked in her favour as it brought formality without completely obstructing the details on the gown.

Now, it’s the illusion panel on the neckline I’m struggling with. The sheer netting is too light against her skin and the thick seam ruins the floating effect of the shoulder embellishment.

I would have preferred to see the grayish tulle used on the neckline compared to this, although, a true skin tone netting match would have been preferred.

Gal Gadot In Armani Prive – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Gal Gadot delighted, first attending the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) then making her way to the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party where she joined Abbie Cornish, Allison Williams and Emily Blunt.

Shine was the theme of the night for the ‘Wonder Woman’ actress, with her stepping out in a sequined Armani Prive gown for the party.

Despite the glistening fabric and sensual cut, there is an ease to the ensemble that is evident in a number of her looks.

She didn’t overcook the outfit with dramatic accessories or makeup.

It still has a glamorous allure appropriate for the event, but she looks comfortable and carefree.

Abbie Cornish In Christian Siriano – 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

After attending the 2018 Oscars, Abbie Cornish headed to the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California. She joined Zoe KravitzEmma Watson and Emily Blunt.

The ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ actress went from heavy embellishment to bold blooms in a Christian Siriano Spring 2018 ensemble.

Even though this is a full runway look, I enjoy that it’s separates, bringing a fresh silhouette to the mix of gowns.

Such a strong print on a voluminous skirt could have overwhelmed her, but the stark black long sleeves balance out the striking pattern.

The jewels might not have been necessary but they echo the flora on the dress while softening the austere nature of the bodice.
