Fendi Couture @ The 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Two stars took on the Fendi Couture label for the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, held on Sunday (February 9) at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California.
Olivia Wilde: You would be excused if you called this Fendi Fall 2019 Couture jumpsuit a dress.
With the exaggerated proportions, it was hard to tell where the billowy sleeves and pant legs started and ended.
My feeling is that it was more nuanced in person, but any intricacies got lost in photographs as the look seems rather one-note and just plain heavy.
And, that is especially true if you remember that Zoey Deutch wore a glorious yellow version of a similar design at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards — which was a far better incarnation of the look.
I also think that Olivia’s hair and makeup fell flat here. This jumpsuit really required a stronger statement — at the very least, a bold lip.

Suki Waterhouse: The model opted for a Fendi Fall 2019 Couture gown which was worn just as well as its time on the runway.
I think she has the presence to effortlessly wear the lingerie-inspired elements, as this wear is a glorified slip, petticoat, and bralette.
I love the Chopard earrings, as they really brought the look together for me.
