Kim Kardashian In Vintage Alexander McQueen – 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Kim Kardashian-West celebrated Oscar night at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, held on Sunday (February 9) at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California.
The Karashian-Jenners surprised me at this event.
What was expected, turned out to be unexpected.
I know some of you are not fans of Kim wearing some of your favourite vintage designs, but this Alexander McQueen Spring 2003 gown is a stunning piece of art, and deserved a moment to shine on the red carpet.
This ‘Oyster’ gown is one of only two ever produced, and Kim purchased this piece from LILY et Cie, a Beverly Hills boutique which has a comprehensive luxury archival and modern designer fashion, who also sourced Jennifer Aniston’s Vintage John Galliano for Christian Dior gown for the 2020 SAG Awards.
The only other ‘Oyster’ gown is part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s collection.
For me, this sees a return of the old Kim, when she would wear very soft and feminine designs, before her stylist Kanye took over and made everything so bland and Rick Owensy.
Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed her look.
