Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture Front Row

There was as much beauty in the front row as there was on the runway on Wednesday afternoon for the Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture show held in Paris during Couture week.

Paz Vega: The Spanish actress, who has been spending a lot of time stateside, wore a very ladylike Elie Saab frock with lace inserts and a chic peplum waist. Styled with a complementary Elie Saab clutch, she gave her look a fall-like touch by adding burgundy pumps to her look.

Olga Kurylenko: Fellow red carpet regular Olga was also in the front row, opting for a flirtier look, donning a green lace-accented frock styled with matching Elie Saab sandals and the same gold Elie Saab clutch that I also own. A simple ponytail and a watermelon-pink lip colour completed her look.

Which pieces from Elie Saab’s Spring 2014 Couture collection would you like to see on these lovely ladies?

Florence Welch In Valentino - Valentino Spring 2014 Couture Front RowFlorence Welch was seated front and centre at the Valentino Spring 2014 Couture fashion show in Paris, France on Wednesday (January 22).

Looking like she planned her ensemble to perfectly match her surroundings, the songstress was well-coordinated to the flora and fauna backdrop in a Valentino Pre-Fall 2014 forest-green overcoat, aflutter with colourful butterflies.

She wore the quirky-beautiful coat over matching green separates, further highlighting the beauty of this hue against her flame-red locks.

With styling that stayed remarkably true to the lookbook, she rocked the same rust-brown ankle boots, alongside the complementary, butterfly-printed handbag.

Her nature look may have been the inspiration for her au naturel makeup, as she followed a barely-there approach to finish this statement-making entrance.

Armani Prive Spring 2014 Front Row

Celebs gathered to view the Giorgio Armani Prive Spring 2014 show as part of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on Tuesday (January 21) in Paris, France.

Paloma Faith: Always a delight to behold, Paloma of course opted for something uber glamorous, wearing a black pleated-fan-bodice Giorgio Armani Fall 2013 gown with a velvet skirt for her grand arrival. You may be thinking a gown is a bit OTT for a fashion show, but the show was at 8.30pm and was to be followed by a dinner – and this is Paloma Faith we are talking about, who never does things by halves.

Zhang Ziyi: The Asian actress was considerably more demure, wearing a magenta Giorgio Armani Spring 2014 embellished fitted jacket with black fitted pants, which she styled with black pumps and a black-and-white clutch. This look says everything about Armani: classic, timeless and oh so very elegant.

Kristin Scott Thomas: The English-French actress had the same idea as Zhang Ziyi, but sadly I wasn’t as enthused by Kristin’s execution. I much prefer the runway styling of this look, being orange, black and black rather than Kristin’s orange, orange, black and blue. Swap the orange silk blouse for a black one and lose the navy clutch and I would be more inclined to like this look.

Chanel Spring 2014 Couture Front Row

The Chanel Spring 2014 Couture show took place during Paris Fashion Week today in France. The front row attendees were treated to a show which looked like the designer had sought inspiration from his Spring 2009 Couture collection.

Tilda Swinton: The only person who really caught my eye in the front row was Tilda. The face of Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection opted for a Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 look, wearing a cashmere star-print sweater with a colourful fringed knit skirt, styled with an American flag scarf, knit tights and two-tone Chanel pumps. Coming from Scotland, she knows a thing or two about dressing for the current season.

Lily Allen: The Brit singer was also perched in the front row, opting for simple staples, jazzing up her look with a red-white-and-blue tweed coat, a colourful headpiece and a Chanel quilted shoulder bag. Adding yet more colour to her look, she opted for smoked blue eye makeup. Between Lupita Nyong’o, Keira Knightley and now Lily, I’m thinking I need to step up my eye-makeup game this season.

Olga Kurylenko: The actress went from temptress at Dior to quite pedestrian at Chanel. If it weren’t for the glossy red lips and those studded cuffs, I wouldn’t have even noticed this look.

Anna Dello Russo In Prada - Christian Dior Spring 2014 Couture Front Row

What is fashion week without a sighting of Anna Dello Russo?

Love her or hate her attention-seeking ways, the fashionista is always ready to shock and awe.

Before taking her front row seat at Christian Dior’s Spring 2014 show, the editor-at-large for Vogue Nippon was spotted wearing a Prada Spring 2014 rainbow hued red-collared coat featuring embellished detailing.

Many of you were slightly disappointed that Michelle Dockery’s Prada dress was sans embellishment, but of course Anna would wear the runway look.

Anna’s choice of hat can often be perplexing (remember the dunce’s hat she wore to the Michael Kors event last year?) but this time the pink fur hat was tame by her standards.

An orange bag and Chanel white embroidered boots featuring a black toecap rounded out her look.

There is no middle ground when it comes to Anna Dello Russo’s style, so do you love it or hate it?

Christian Dior Spring 2014 Couture Front Row 2

Spring 2014 Couture Fashion Week continued today with a host of lovely ladies taking to the front row for Christian Dior’s show.

Kate Bosworth: The actress, who arrived with her husband Michael Polish, wore a Dior navy-blue-and-silver metallic embroidered top and skirt, which she styled with bi-colour Dior shoes. The look is very simple, letting the pieces speak for themselves without over-accessorizing, but a part of me feels like this look would be better suited to Chloe Grace Moretz.

Allison Williams: While her look sported many of the emblems we saw on the Christian Dior Spring 2014 runway, there was nothing back-to-school about her super-chic look. Following Diane Kruger’s trendy camel-coat-wearing lead, the actress also slung her Dior wool coat over her shoulder while wearing a burgundy knit top with burgundy leather pants. Opting for barely any makeup, she styled her look with an emblem-emblazoned ‘Lady Dior’ bag and bi-colour Dior shoes.

Olga Kurylenko: The Ukraine-born actress gave us the bombshell moment, looking super sexy wearing a Dior embroidered-and-printed pastel-metallic guipure top with a high-waist navy wool skirt. While I would lose the ivory-and-black Dior clutch, I would kill for those Dior multi-coloured pumps.
