Louis Vuitton Spring 2016 Front Row

Louis Vuitton Spring 2016 Front Row

Louis Vuitton presented its Spring 2016 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday (October 7) in Paris, France.

Michelle Williams: Having dabbled with a few of the edgier pieces from Nicolas Ghesquière’s Louis Vuitton collection, the actress kept her look simple and chic on this occasion.

Miranda Kerr: While I can’t say there is anything wrong with this Louis Vuitton look on Miranda, I also find it quite contrived. I will always applaud those who step outside their comfort zone, but I don’t buy this on Miranda. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley could’ve sold this to me.

Alicia Vikander: The Swedish actress is by far my favourite LV ambassador. I don’t think I’ve really disliked one of her red carpet outings for the French brand. However, this secretary style feels like it’s aimed at someone much older.

Chanel Spring 2016 Front Row

Chanel Spring 2016 Front Row

Chanel presented their Spring 2016 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (October 6) in Paris, France.

Kaya Scodelario: Following her Chanel disaster at the ‘Maze Runner: Scorch’ premiere recently, the brand offered her a sweet, less complicated piece from the Resort 2016 collection. Ankles up she fared much better.

Maria Sharapova: While I have no complaints about the cosy knit Chanel Fall 2015 dress, the styling is a horrendous.

Janelle Monae: Thank god for Janelle, who was serving up totally class and elegance in the front row wearing a look from the Fall 2015 collection. I’m glad Kaya was on hand to witness this first hand, because this is how you style and master and Chanel look. BDOTW-worthy.

Christian Dior Spring 2016 Front Row

Christian Dior Spring 2016 Front Row

The Christian Dior Spring 2016 front row featured no shortage of Dior darlings who were taking in the looks that were presented during Paris Fashion Week on Friday (October 3) in Paris, France.

Elizabeth Olsen: Chic for days, the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ actress was the very representation of androgynous allure in a Dior Haute Couture black cashmere jacket with black wool pants paired with a Dior clutch and Dior heels. Although the sleeves could be deemed a bit on the long side, the oversized shawl collar and the monochromatic power of this minimalist moment—not to mention the breezily undone look of her blonde locks—won me over.

Emilia Clarke
: Also balancing the masculine-feminine line, the ‘Game of Thrones’ stunned in a Dior black silk and wool cadi dress that had the makings of a tailored blazer. What could have been a rather nondescript dress Emila took to the next level with the welcome punch of Dior navy and pink heels and that just-bitten, berry-stained lip.

Leelee Sobieski: Straying away from the black trend, Leelee channeled the lighter side in a Dior Haute Couture hand-painted, pastel cotton dress with a Dior Haute Couture necklace and shoes. Ironically, the effect was still rather heavy given the strict, monastic-like silhouette. Yet, she wore it with a sense of drama that certainly brought its own measure of captivating intrigue.

Rihanna In Christian Dior – Christian Dior Spring 2016 Front Row, Out In Paris & Vogue 95th Anniversary Party

Rihanna In Christian Dior - Christian Dior Spring 2016 Front Row, Out In Paris & Vogue 95th Anniversary Party

Rihanna had a busy time in Paris this weekend; fulfilling her Dior ambassadorial duties, shopping, sight-seeing and attending Vogue’s anniversary party.

Christian Dior Spring 2016 Front Row: I have to say I was blown away by Rihanna in this Dior Couture pale salmon neoprene coat – which is a surprised as I wasn’t too enamoured by it on the runway. Proving perhaps that Rihanna can sell Dior to me. Styled with Dior accessories, the look was so chic and fashion forward.

Dior Boutique: Making her way to the Dior boutique in Paris, the singer wore a head-to-toe Dior look which had me saying, “there is just too much going on”.

Gucci Spring 2016 Front Row

Gucci Spring 2016 Front Row

A group of Gucci-donning pretties were seated front row at the Gucci Spring 2016 show held during Milan Fashion Week on Wednesday (September 23) in Milan, Italy.

Dakota Johnson: This Gucci Fall 2015 frock, accented by a bow collar and bee brooches, saw the ‘Black Mass’ actress exploring the rich colourway of burgundy along with more ruffles and embellishment than we sometimes see from her sleekly simple statements. However, it only proved that this brand of feminine charm works for her just, as well.

Salma Hayek: Her Resort 2016 look likewise had a touch of darlingness with the embroidered sweater serving up a sweet retro sensibility balanced by iconic horsebit-belted skirt. I love the pop of the red leather Gucci GG ‘Marmont’ clutch that plays off the floral patchwork. The massive platform pumps were less successful.

Alexa Chung: While part of me wished to see the full detail of this Resort 2015 vintage-leaning dress and its embellished collar, the other part of me was just as happy about the chicly clean, modern edge that the black coat provided in pairing with the horsebit natural fur Gucci slippers.

Versus Versace Spring 2016

Catherine Kallon Versus Versace

Versace invited me to their Versus Versace Spring 2016 show on Saturday (September 19) in London during Fashion Week.

Now here’s something you thought you’d never see, me in all black; but it’s the Anthony Vaccarello X Versus Versace way.

Me wearing black has been like kryptonite to Superman, but I absolutely loved the look especially in motion.

This look had me thinking, perhaps I have written black off too harshly all these years.

My look was styled with Versace accessories including Versace sandals which pretty much sold the whole look to me, as I originally had my eye on an electric blue ensemble.

There were plenty of celebs who attended the show.
