Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Sporting a new flame red hair colour, Lake Bell joined Christina Hendricks on the red carpet at the 2012 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday evening.

The actress was smouldering hot wearing an Andrew Gn brilliant blue gown.

I wish Lake had opted for a silver Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch, instead of gold, to complement the crystal beaded embellishment on her gown, but the gown is so gorgeous I can barely focus on the clutch.

A selection of Pomellato bangles, a statement ring and a simple updo completed her look.

I would’ve loved a smoky eye with this look, but Lake opted to go au natural.

The 2012 Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place at the Nokia Theatre LA Live on Saturday evening.

Christina Hendricks opted to wear a Jenny Packham Fall 2012 gown.

I went back and forth as to whether I liked this gown and I concluded that I love the silhouette. Whoever is dressing Christina now, finally knows how to dress her body type.

What bothers me is the print. I find it far too busy especially with the addition of the overwhelming shoulder detail.

Could’ve been great, but sadly it’s a no for me.

Stana Katic was my best dressed at the 62nd Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

The Canadian actress looked exquisite on the red carpet wearing a Badgley Mischka Resort 2011 gown.

I love the colour on her plus the detailed bodice.

She’s really working the gown much more than the model does.

A vintage bag and Martin Katz jewels complete this BDOTW worthy look.

Christina Hendricks continues to make me proud by maximizing her curves at the 62nd Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

The gorgeous “Mad Men” actress opted for a belted black Christian Siriano gown.

As much as I wish it was in another colour, like green for example, I must admit that the black adds to the drama.

No one does drama quite like Siriano.

Whilst most of the stars wore nude or neutral dresses on the red carpet at the 62nd Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards these 3 ladies opted for dark colours.

Maria Canals-Barrera wore a beautiful navy Farah Angsana gown with a pleated detail on the bust.

I just love how her Judith Leiber clutch sparkles in this picture.

Sheila E looked stunning in her black sequin strapless gown.

I love that gown is lined with leopard print which she matches her leopard print clutch.

This is such a cute touch.

Lily Tomlin looks like she’s ready to audition for Whoopi Goldberg’s “Sister Act The Musical” at the London Palladium.

Too much black, too much material, too hot for a sunny day.
