Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Pretty In Pink Award
Mariska Hargitay always shines on the red carpet and the 2010 Emmy Awards red carpet was no exception.

The “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” actress gave us old-school glamour wearing a blush pink Vera Wang strapless gown which hugged her sexy curves.

I love the chiffon train and the details on the bodice, but not the pleats on the hip.

The gown would’ve been too plain without those details so for that I’m thankful.

Fred Leighton jewels and a sleek updo complete her look.

Taiwanese actress Patty Hou was a vision of pure loveliness at Vera Wang’s boutique agency “Choice Collections” opening party.

Patty wore an adorable Vera Wang Fall 2010 mini dress.

The draped tulle dress has scribble sequins decorating the bodice which create eye-catching effect.

Patty paired her dress with the same necklace the model wore on the runway, but her dress appears to be a bit shorter and has less black tulle on the skirt.

Her dress was paired with Jil Sander asymmetric leather sandals.

I think Patty is the strongest contender for BDOTW so far.

Do you?

Mila Kunis is becoming a quite the brand ambassador for Vera Wang.

The beautiful actress looked stunning wearing a black and grey tumbled tulle Vera Wang ballgown.

The appliquéd sequin bodice and the drama of the gown is making me ache it’s so beautiful.

I love this look despite this feeling like a Marchesa type of gown.

Her earrings were the perfect finishing touch.

Renee Zellweger and Forest Whitaker walked the red carpet on Thursday night for a Tribeca Film Festival premiere of their new movie, “My Own Love Song.”

Renee was glowing wearing a midnight blue Vera Wang dress.

I love the skirt which has voluminous tiers projecting an extraordinarily interesting shape.

From the back you can see the black sash around her waist is tied into a bow.

Renee has finally done something new with her hair. Although I’m not crazy about the style, I do like how it no longer appears wispy as it frames her face.

Fred Leighton jewels and beige Christian Louboutin heels complete the look.

The last time saw Renee on the red carpet she was wearing Vera Wang.

Could she be the designers new muse? Has she kicked Carolina Herrera to the curb?

Time will tell.

Like you, I couldn’t pick a clear winner between Camilla Belle in YSL and Hilary Duff in Vera Wang, so they are both crowned Best Dressed this week.

Both were wow moments.

Camilla continues to gives us nothing short of 100% when she hits the red carpet and she repeated that again wearing Jason Wu.

I think this is the first time we all sat up and noticed Hilary Duff on the red carpet.

We often see red carpet players like Camilla Belle and those who make up the numbers.

For once Hilary was up front and center.

Both are worthy winners.

Last night was a great night for fashion.

Those of you who complained that last week was fashion lite, got your wish granted for more great celeb looks this week.

Everyone (excluding one person) gave us something to marvel and Hilary Duff was no exception.

The former ‘Gossip Girl’ actress looked amazing as she walked the red carpet at the “Good Housekeeping 125th Anniversary Party” in New York.

I adore her Vera Wang Spring 2010 tulle dress.

It’s so elegant yet so whimsical.  Like a modern day tinkerbell.

I prefer her dress as she has less of the black tulle on the skirt and her asymmetrical bodice appears to be shorter than the runway dress.

The jewel accent on her shoulder is quite spectacular.

Some of you have expressed that you are bored of nude pumps on the red carpet, but I think her Brian Atwood pumps work perfectly with this look.

I can barely pick a Best Dressed out of today, so BDOTW is going to be impossible.
