GODDESS.

Jennifer Hudson looks the best she’s ever looked on the red carpet.

I think it has a lot to do with her post baby figure, her hair, flawless make-up and that electric blue which continues to dazzle me on the red carpet.

The 2007 Oscar winner attended both Elton John’s and the Vanity Fair party on Sunday night.

She looked A-FRIGGIN-MAZING wearing a Michael Kors chiffon halter gown.

I love how it defines her waist and that jewel detail on the hip is a lovely added touch which complements her Stephen Russell jewelery which values at over $1 million.

A black crocodile Michael Kors clutch completes this amazing look.

Definitely one of the best of Oscar party night.

Most Defensive Award
Whenever I see Tina Fey on the red carpet since her Zac Posen Golden Globes disaster, she seems very defensive on the red carpet.

She needn’t worry about being on any worst dressed list tonight because she looked very elegant and sophisticated in her Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2010 gown.

The black one-shoulder gown had a sexy beaded leopard lace detail and a thigh-high split.

Her dress was paired with a black clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Lilac’ satin pumps.

Fergie attended the “When In Rome” LA Premiere with her hubby Josh Duhamel – who stars in the film – last night.

She look stunning wearing a Michael Kors Pre Fall 2010 black sheath dress with a leather peplum detail at the waist.

Fergie has really been impressing me on the red carpet lately and this LBD is no exception.

The leather peplum stops this from being just a boring black dress.

I also love the cage detail shoes she’s wearing as they add another interesting touch to the outfit.

If I was being picky I would say her hair’s a little untidy.

Wearing the same Gucci Spring 2010 white cut-out dress which Jennifer Lopez wore to the AMA’s, Rihanna looks gorgeous on the cover of W’s February 2010 edition.

The rest of her editorial sees her wearing Michael Kors, Prada and Christian Dior.

Obviously the subject her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown comes up in the interview which she answers honestly. Plus she talks about her new album, having to mature at an early age and SNL’s comedy skit on domestic violence.

You can read the whole interview at WMagazine.com, but below are a few extracts.

On the tone of Rated R: “This was a different type of record for me. . . . It was really personal; it was from me in the most authentic way. It’s like a movie in that when I was making this album, every day I was in a different mood. Sometimes I was p*ssed off, sometimes I was miserable, and every song brings out a different story.!”

Hilary Swank continues to give red carpet master classes, this time wearing a Monique Lhuillier Fall 2009 black gown.

The cut-out details some how make the actress look even more slender and taller, and the embellish details prevent this from being a boring black gown.

Oscar buzz will guarantee you one thing – an endless supply of stunning dresses to wear on the red carpet – and that’s exactly what Carey Mulligan has been wearing lately.

The style-icon-in-the-making wore a Prabal Gurung Spring 2010 black beaded chiffon strapless dress with shirttail hem and silk faille bowtie to cinched in her waist.

She teamed her dress with tortoise-shell heels and a chunky gold bracelet.

I’m loving the quiff.

Zooey Deschanel is probably the only person who I feel dresses up with tights, rather than covers up with tights.

We often see her in various colours of tights, but on this occasion she opted for black to match the black trims on her cute Luella Spring 2010 dress.

Her look was paired with Martin Lewis for Luella bow accented heels and a black Chanel bag.

Like the runway model Zooey wears a black bow in her hair, but she opted to wears hers at the back.

There were a lot of black dresses at this event, but Kate Beckinsale’s Michael Kors Resort 2010 dress was made interesting with the asymmetrical neckline and the draped detail on the skirt.

Long gold earrings and a chunky cuff complete the sophisticated look.

Despite Diane Kruger being one of the few not to wear black at this event, I wasn’t crazy about her look.

She kept her look light and feminine wearing a Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2010 white silk dress with a rise and fall hem, but unfortunately the nude heels really let her down.

I loved how this gown billowed on the runway, and although that drama is lost on the red carpet Diane still tried to make it work.

I also preferred how the dress sits above the knee on the model, the length feels a bit awkward on Diane.

Julianne Moore is not afraid of colour, as she wore a beautiful coral dress with voluminous sleeves.

I adore the colour on her.  She can be so breath-taking at times without much effort.

The actress paired her dress with Chanel ankle strap heels, and a black Bottega Veneta Impero satin clutch.

Michelle Monaghan looked stunning in a black strapless dress with a floral embroidered detail on the bodice.

She glows as brightly as her Martin Katz jewels.

Dare I say this, but I’m bored.

Charlize Theron normally blows me away each time she hits the red carpet, but I can only get excited about her red Louboutin’s with a gold toe cap and Bottega Veneta clutch.

Her The Row ensemble is very meh!!!

AnnaLynne McCord provided the sultry glamour I was expecting from Charlize, by posing seductively in a one-shouldered black gown.

Taraji P. Henson is wearing a really nice Rachel Roy dress, but it somehow feels out of place at this event.

I’m also not loving the hair extensions. She worked the shorter style really well.

What’s most tragic is the make-up. Why does she have a layer of white powder under her eyes?

I was excited to receive my invitation to the Michael Kors Spring 2010 show the night before the show.

I was even more excited when I arrived to see my seat assignment with name on it, plus a bottle of ‘Very Hollywood’ by Michael Kors perfume.

The show notes indicated that there would be 64 looks so I knew I would be in for a treat.

The collection was perfect for the chic uptown New Yorker, with its sleek architectural shapes and asymmetry.

The colour palette was a beautiful mix of white, black, blue, grey, silver, pink, blue, lilac and pistachio.

The collection included oversized cashmere cardigans and sweaters, some with only one sleeve and others with cut-outs. The cashmere pieces were paired with skirts.

Zips added toughness to looks, as did defined shoulders.

There were many cut-outs on pieces and some were filled in with perspex. This was added to the sides of a black swimsuit, across dresses and shoes to give the spring looks a bit of a ’60s vibe.

Sequins covered evening cocktail dress, which would be a perfect alternative to a gown on the red carpet.

Bergdorf Goodman

The biggest stars took to the stores here in New York for the biggest Fashion night out the world has ever seen.

My chin hit the floor when I saw Victoria Beckham – not all for good reasons.

Firstly she was not wearing a black pencil dress – SHOCKER.

Secondly she wasn’t wearing black period – minus her thigh high Gucci Fall 2009 boots.

Thirdly the dress wasn’t from her collection and lastly WOW.

Where did this woman come from? This isn’t slightly tedious VB we have been looking at for the last six months.

This is someone who wanted to shake off the boring tag and shock us all.

And she did.

Unfortunately I really didn’t like make-up, and I didn’t understand why she wore such an edgy look with a headband.

On the positive side I did like her modified Giles Fall 2009 reptile print strapless dress.

I don’t like to talk about weight on my blog, it’s number no no. But I’m sure many of you will debate her weight because she is looking a tad gaunt.

Oscar de la Renta Boutique

Sarah Jessica Parker wore her ‘Fashion’s Night Out’ tee with pride pairing it with a taffeta Oscar de la Renta asymmetrical skirt, and a black belt encrusted with diamante’s on the buckle.

I love the way she styled the tee.

Anna Wintour who organised this FNO event, showed her support for the cause by wearing the campaign t-shirt like SJP.

She paired the tee with a colour co-ordinating Prada Spring 2009 pencil skirt.

Ralph Lauren Women’s Boutique

Blake Lively turned down the sex kitten for a country chic head-to-toe Ralph Lauren look, wearing a grey embellished blouse with tweed vest and tan crocodile boots.

Camilla Belle – also in head-to-toe Ralph Lauren – went for a sexy chic look wearing a luxurious Pre-Fall 2009 grey wool one-shoulder dress with a pink crocodile belt, brown sandals.

I’m not so sure I like the longer hair, but her dress is spectacular on her.

Bloomingdale’s 59th Street Store

Lindsay Lohan wore an Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2009 Caribbean blue shirt as shirtdress paired with leggings, sky high heeled ankle boots and a trilby hat.

Macy’s Herald Square

Debra Messing looked fabulous wearing a one-sleeved charcoal Michael Kors Fall 2009 herringbone origami dress.

I love the thinner belt she wore with the dress, and the sculptured shoulder.

Vogue Pop Up Boutique at Macy’s Queens

Across town Kate Hudson was also wearing a dress from the Michael Kors Fall 2009 collection.

Her espresso check strapless dress also had origami details on the bodice.

Giuseppe Zanotti Boutique

Channeling her inner Grace Jones, Rihanna looked fierce sporting a hooded Alexander Wang cowl-neck mini dress with a pair of studded sunglasses at night, and Giuseppe Zanotti boots.

Dior Boutique

Charlize Theron was of course on hand to provide the star power to the Dior Boutique.

The actress looked outstanding from her perfectly coiffed hair to her Dior heels.

I just love her silvery blue Dior strapless dress. Hollywood glamour at its very finest.

Victoria’s Secret Lexington Store

Miranda Kerr looked uber cute wearing a colour blocking Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2009 dress we have previously seen on Kate Walsh.
