Red Carpet Fashion Awards

On the red carpet at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Paris last night, Fergie wore Louis Vuitton.

When she presented Marc Jacobs with an award at the event, she changed into a look from the designers Fall 2011 collection – sans the cute polka tights.

The grey polka dot peplum dress was accented with a black waistband which gave Fergie the perfect hourglass shape.

She kept her hot red lips from her red carpet look, but opted to wear her hair down on this occasion.

Do we call this look ombre, or do we say Fergie desperately needs to touch up her roots?

Naomi Watts was joined on the red carpet by her partner Liev Schreiber, as they attended the 2011 Shakespeare In The Park Gala at the Delacorte Theater in New York City yesterday.

The actress opted to wear a Marc Jacobs striped silk dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her laid-back red carpet look was perfect for the occasion, although I’m missing something to give the look a slight lift.

Darker lip-shade or a clutch maybe?

Young Elle Fanning looked absolutely adorable at the 2011 Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, California yesterday.

I was just flicking through some of the Resort collections on Style.com yesterday, and I had initially picked this for Kristen Bell, but of course it was made for someone as cute as Elle.

The baby blue tulle dress with white floral appliqués appears to be longer on Elle plus she opted out of wearing the silver waistband.

Elle’s red carpet shoes haven’t been that impressive thus far, but on this occasion I love her Chanel coral peep-toes which provide a fruity contrast to her blue dress.

The dress does all the talking as Elle didn’t add any make-up or jewels to her look.

I think this definitely deserves a spot on the BDOTW list.

What do you think?

Here is a look at some of the other 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards attendees.

Shenae Grimes: The “90210″ actress opted for a Rebecca Taylor bustier with black pants. I don’t like this look because of the bricks she has on her feet.

Whitney Port: The beautiful young designer opted to wear a look by other designer. Her Pamella Roland one shoulder ivory pleated gown is sensational. I love the spiral beading and organza floral appliqués.

Emmanuelle Chriqui: The beautiful “Entourage” star was in my Top 10. She looked stunning wearing a vibrant yellow David Meister with a chiffon train. Kudos to her stylist for picking those amazing purple Manolo Blahnik Kioko sandals with rhinestone embellishments. They are such a perfect way to top off this gorgeous look.

Not Those Shoes Again Award
No matter what she wears, Anna Wintour will not leave her house without her favourite Manolo’s.

At the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City last night, she honored Marc Jacobs who took home the ‘Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award’, by wearing a look from his Fall 2011 collection.

This was also one of my favourites of the night.

I love that she didn’t modify the look, which often does.

The Marc Jacobs ivory satin top was paired with a forest green embroidered skirt and a black patent belt as presented on the runway.

As much as I would love to see her wearing a different pair of heels for a refreshing change, they do work really well with this look.

Despite keeping her look low key, Rose Byrne still oozed oodles of glamour on the red carpet at the “X-Men: First Class” New York Premiere tonight.

She opted for super sexy Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 navy lace dress.

The long sleeve dress was of course lined, but we still get to clearly see the bold lace details.

Many of you haven’t warmed to Rose’s blunt bangs, so you’ll be pleased to see she opted for side sweeping bangs with her beehive ‘do.

A navy satin Kotur J.B. Renna Karung clutch, Cartier jewels and nude Brian Atwood pumps completed this stunning BDOTW worthy look.
