Anne Hathaway wore this blue Marc Jacobs Resort 2009 dotted satin dress, when she visited the Late Show With David Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theatre back in September.

The actress wore her dress with tight and black pumps.

On a very rare night out, Courteney Cox arrived on the red carpet of the LA premiere for Bedtime Stories at the El Capitan Theatre last week in Hollywood wearing the same dress.

The actress wore her dress with a gold necklace, which had a large pendent, gold trimmed heels, a gold watch and a black clutch.

I much prefer Courteney’s accessories, so she wins this for me.

Like the RM by Roland Mouret Kleber dress, I also associate this Marc Jacobs Asymmetric heart dress to Victoria Beckham.

Victoria’s street style is unmatched for style, elegance and classy by any celebrity period, but her red carpet choices did not really hit a high note, until she arrived at the CFDA Awards back in June with Marc Jacobs, wearing this black silk asymmetric appliqué heart dress.

J ‘Adore, especially the back detail.

Now we finally have the opportunity to purchase one of the best dresses to grace the red carpet this year from Net-A-Porter.com.

You can buy it from their US site for $3,900 or the international site for £2,430/€3,110.

I am sure my family will understand if I cancel Christmas this year.

UPDATE: This dress has already sold-out.

Victoria’s Secret model Karolina Kurkova arrived at the 43rd Academy of Country Music Awards at The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas back in May, wearing a Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 two-tone playsuit, which had the back cut-out.

Emma Watson attended the Patrick Demarchelier Photo Exhibition Opening Party last week during Fashion Week, and she surprisingly wore the same playsuit.

I would not have thought this was Emma’s style, but I guess the young actress is still experimenting with fashion.

She wore her playsuit with a black blazer and Christian Louboutin Button-Web Strappy Sandals.

I much prefer Karolina’s overall look, so she wins this for me.

Anne Hathaway arrived at a the Ed Sullivan Theatre last night, for a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman.

The actress was wearing a navy blue Marc Jacobs Resort 2009 3/4 sleeved polka dot dress, which had a black sash at the waist. She wore her dress with black tights and black patent Brian Atwood heels.

Anne has been very busy lately. She just recently did a worldwide promotion for Get Smart, and she’s already back on the trail promoting Rachel Getting Married.

I found it very strange that there were no pictures of Victoria Beckham, from the party thrown for her by Allure’s editor-in-chief Linda Wells last Thursday.

After finally finding this picture of Victoria Beckham at her party, I am now understanding why no pictures were immediately available.

This has to be one of Victoria’s worst looks. I really don’t like the over-baring bow on her Marc Jacobs Resort 2009 dress, and her hair looks very messy, like she just tied it back with a scrunchy, rather than it had it styled. Even from the side it looks a mess, like she clipped on one of those fake ponytails.

Not VB’s finest hour.

Actress Selma Blair first wore this Marc Jacobs Crystal embroidered dress to Marc Jacobs Fall 2008 show at New York Fashion Week during February.

She teamed her dress with a pair of Marc Jacobs backward heel shoes and a snake-skinned clutch.

Two days later Victoria Beckham wore the same dress, when she partied at the Cuckoo Club on a club night called Hiro, for gay men. The gay icon whipped the crowd up into a frenzy when she took to the stage to introduce herself.

The ex-Spice Girl wore her dress with silver Christian Louboutin heels.

Kate Moss wore the same dress for the after-party of her new fragrance ‘Velvet Hour’ at a Berlin club last week.

The supermodel wore her dress with black patent Christian Louboutin t-bar peep-toes.

Victoria’s heels win this for me.

As Factory Girl actress Sienna Miller made her way through the LAX International Airport homeward bound, in her Uggs, tights, a striped dress and a leather jacket, her Marc Jacobs Bruna quilted tote really stood out.

The raspberry quilted leather tote has a belt which ties at the front with a gold buckle detail logo.

You can purchase this bag from Net-A-Porter for only $1,295 /€1,070 / £760

If you would prefer a similar but bigger, this Marc Jacobs Casey quilted shopper is available in the US and outside the US for the same price as the smaller tote.

Sienna will soon be toting around her own bags, because Twenty8Twelve, the clothing label she co-designs with her sister Savannah Miller, has produced a 12-piece collection of tote bags, wallets and clutch bags.

Styles include a roomy tote called the Harlech, and a structured handbag named the Lezark, through to Jezebel, a zippered clutch, and a small purse, Wallace. There are also three styles of wide leather belts in the collection, alongside leather gloves and silk scarves.

These bags will be available in Harvey Nichols in London, Tracey Ross and Aura in Los Angeles, We One You Too in Washington and neimanmarcus.com this Fall.
